Ecologist urges citizens not to spread panic over smog issue in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - Expert on environmental issues Dinara Kutmanova urged the citizens not to spread panic among the society over smog issues.
She told the Birinchi Radio that "spreading panic on smog issue in Bishkek is not serious".
"Activists should draw on their professional knowledge because the analytical chemistry as a system, first of all, requires processing of results of measurements, where air filter blow-offs occur. Also, there might be convergence of measurement methods. If the environmentalists have one-time breakthroughs, it is normal, and they will commensurate with one-time breakthroughs of Kyrgyzgidromet. Therefore, one should know the interval of errors. In all cases, a professional approach is needed," she noted.
