Day of Manas epic marked in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - The Day of the epic of Manas has been marked in the Kyrgyz National Philharmonic named after Toktogul Satylganov, the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism reported. The event was attended by advosor of the President Sultan Rayev, Chief of the Parliament Office Samat Ibrayev, Vice Prime Minister Altynai Omurbekova, public workers, employees of culture and arts and citizens.
The concert was opened by Minister of Culture Azamat Jamankulov.
The Kyrgyz epic trilogy of Manas, Semetey and Seytek has been included in the list of intangible heritage". The Day of the Manas epic is marked on December 4.
