'Feminnale exhibition was to be held in another place but not in temple of culture' – lawmaker

AKIPRESS.COM - MP Mahabat Mavlyanova (Respublika - Ata-Jurt) condemned the organization of the feminnale exhibition with nude performance in the museum at the session of the Parliament today. "We should fight against certain negative phenomena, but we should not allow nude show in the museum. Instead of organization of the feminnale with naked women in the temple of culture - in the museum - the national values were to be promoted. Probably, it had to be held in another place and conditions," she noted.
The parliamentarian also said no need to divide into rural and urban people, as everyone is a citizen of one country and we should develop values, preserve and hand over to the growing generation.
"There are a lot of people without their state, therefore, we should keep our traditions and take into consideration our mentality," Mavlyanova said.
