Interior Minister of Kyrgyzstan voices reaction of law enforcement bodies towards feminnale row

AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Interior of Kyrgyzstan Kashgar Junushaliyev on December 5 at the Parliament session told about the reaction of the law enforcement bodies towards the exhibition with nude performance in the Museum of Fine Arts in Bishkek. The Pervomai district police are carrying out investigation on the exhibition in the museum and the threats based on the claims of the former director of the museum Mira Janagaracheva, he said.
The feminnale exhibition with nude performance kicked off in the National Museum of Fine Arts on November 25. As part of the event, organizers showed a nude performance against violation with participation of the naked women. This sparked a public outcry.
Janagaracheva resigned on December 2.
