State Border Service installs over 120 CCTV cameras at 4 checkpoints

AKIPRESS.COM - The State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan installed over 120 CCTV cameras in 4 checkpoints, said the first deputy head of the State Border Service Abdikarim Alimbayev on Dec 5. According to him, to date over 30 cameras were installed at the Ak-Jol-Avtodorjnyi, Aktilek-Avtodorojnyi, Chaldovar-Avtodorojnyi and Dostuk-Avtodorojnyi checkpoints.
"The all checkpoints of the border service were modernized within a year of digitialization. Currently, the work to create CCTV monitoring automated system is underway at the checkpoints. Video data from all checkpoints and subdivisions will be transferred online to the State border Service's headquarters through secure communication channels," he said.
8 checkpoints across country and border posts will be connected to this system in the next stages. Overall, 300 cameras will be installed.
