New secure zone opens in Manas airport

AKIPRESS.COM - Vice PM Kubatbek Boronov attended the opening ceremony of the new secure zone at the Manas International Airport on December 5.
Boronov in his address said the opening of new secure zone is a result of successful implementation of the project on expansion of the international departure zone of the Manas airport.
The secure zone opened as part of implementation of the 5th freedom of the air policy.
The fifth freedom of the air allows to increase the night of direct and transit flights, increase the passenger turnover and expand the geography of flights, which is good for tourism, he said.
The project was developed in 2016 by a contract company and done by own sources of the Manas airport, he said.
"The new secure zone has comfortable conditions for passengers before departure. Now there is a baby room for moms, and a separate bathroom for people with disabilities," he said.
