Kazakhstan plans to get 100 million tons of oil from 2023

AKIPRESS.COM - Kazakhstan plans to produce 100 million tons of oil from 2023, Vlast.kz reports. A growth will be due to the project of future expansion of the Tengiz field and expansion of capabilities on repressuring by gas injection in Kashagan field.
Vice Minister of Energy Aset Magauov said a natural reduction of production is forecast in other fields.
He reminded that all three large projects in the country have been reconstructed in 2019. Production in Kashagan, according to him, reached to more than 370,000 barrels a day after a capital rehabilitation.
