Situation in energy sector today is critical, energy holding chief says

AKIPRESS.COM - Situation in energy sector today is critical, said Chairman of the National Energy Holding company Aitmamat Nazarov.
Energy sector revenues are 20 billion soms, but expenditures are bigger than that.
Low water level is seen in Kyrgyzstan lately, there is an electric energy shortage, he said.
"We have unstable climate when water level differs from one year to another. 93% of electricity is generated by the power plants and 7% by combined heat and power plants," he said.
