Almaty process experts discuss migration issues in Central Asia

AKIPRESS.COM - The meeting of the Almaty process expert group is held in Dushanbe on December 9-10. Representatives of Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, UN experts will discuss migration processes, Khovar reports.
The Almaty Process promotes sustained dialogue and exchange of information on migration issues and on refugee protection challenges in in Central Asia and the wider region.
Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Turkmenistan are Almaty process participants. Iran and Pakistan are observer states.
