Tajikistan to increase cotton production to 490,000 next year

This year, 398,000 tons of cotton were harvested, the Ministry of Agriculture said.
The cost of 1 kg of harvested cotton made more than 6.5 somoni, Avesta reports.
In 9 months of this year, cotton fiber exports exceeded $95.4 million.
