New laboratory won't let poor quality drugs in Kazakhstan — Minister of Health

AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Health of Kazakhstan Elzhan Birtanov told about opening of a new laboratory testing center on the basis of the Nazarbayev university, informburo.kz reported. The laboratory will meet the international standards while testing the drugs and medical products to prevent supply of poor quality or counterfeit medical products to the country, Birtanov told on Twitter.
The center is equipped with 250 units of new equipment for testing the quality and security of the drugs.
Specialists of the center will be conducting 7,000 laboratory tests annually on 907 kinds of tests.
