Kazakhstan signs number of major business deals with leading companies as part of PM's visit to U.S.

AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister of Kazakhstan as part of his official visit to the U.S. visited San Francisco, where he held a number of meetings with the leading world companies in the field of innovative and digital development, the press service of the PM reported. At the meeting with the leadership of the Fourth Industrial Revolution Center of the Wolrld Economic Forum, Mamin and WEF managing Director discussed promising areas of cooperation in the sphere of regulation of innovative technologies.
As a result of the talks with Chief of the 500 Startups Christine Tsai, the sides signed an agreement on joining of the JSC QazTechVentures of Kazakhstan to the 5th Global Fund of the 500 Startups.
The document envisages creation of the joint thematic venture fund in Kazakhstan. The project will give an impetus to development of the venture financing and innovative entrepreneurship by providing startup companies with venture capital.
The PM of Kazakhstan also met with Chief Financial Officer of the Bright Sphere Investment Group Suren Rana. They signed a memorandum of cooperation on creation of the joint fund for financing of infrastructure projects in Kazakhstan in 2020.
