MP believes air quality worsened after modernization of Bishkek CHPP

AKIPRESS.COM - More smog is seen after modernization of the Bishkek CHPP, MP Kozhobek Ryspayev said today at the Parliament session.
He proposed the Prime Minister to walk along the Erkindik boulevard in the evening and see how Bishkek is covered by smog.
"Society raises alarm. The State Agency for Environmental Protection and Forestry can only measure once a year and can not go and check the violations," Ryspayev outraged.
According to him, the quality of the domestic coal burned in the brick and cement plans should be ckecked as well.
After tech inspection cancelation, the cars stopped using catalyzers and emit exhaust fumes.
