Wreaths laying ceremony to Chingiz Aitmatov bas-relief held in Uzbekistan

AKIPRESS.COM - Employees of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Uzbekistan headed by Ambassador Ibragim Junusov on December 12 laid wreaths to the bas-relief of Chingiz Aitmatov in Tashkent, the MFA reported.
Representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora in Uzbekistan were there to honour the memory of Aitmatov.
Junusov underlined the importance of personality of Aitmatov for the Kyrgyz people and thanked the participants for care for the memory of the writer.
The Ambassador also attended the round table discussion organized by the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan on occation of the 91st birthday of Aitmatov.
