Islamic Academy to appear in Kyrgyzstan — Ministry of Education

AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan and the Zayed Foundation signed an agreement on opening of the Islamic Academy in Kyrgyzstan, the President's press service reported.
The document was signed during the official visit of President Sooronbai Jeenbekov to the UAE on December 11-12.
"The Academy will teach the most important tenets of Islam - compassion, tolerance, kindness and mercy, will call for good deeds," Minister of Education of Kyrgyzstan Kanybek Isakov said.
According to him, heads of state bodies and self-government bodies will be attending the lectures of the Academy to get information about the modern religious science, which will help recognize various kinds of religious radical trends in the society.
The activities of the Academy will be controlled by the Ministry of Education, Isakov added.
