Foreign Minister briefs Tokayev on results of his trip to U.S.

AKIPRESS.COM - Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tleuberdi told President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev about the results of his official trip to the U.S. and participation in the 14th session of the Foreign Ministers of the Asia-Europe Forum in Madrid, Akorda reported.
According to Tleuberdi, during the talks, the U.S. State Secretary Mike Pompeo said that the U.S. sees Kazakhstan as a reliable partner in the region.
The participants of the Asia-Europe Forum praised the transit potential of Kazakhstan, he said.
They vowed to contribute to the development of transport roads joining the Asian and the European countries, the Foreign Minister noted.
The head of state following the meeting gave a number of instructions on priority areas of foreign policy of Kazakhstan.
