Tokayev receives Head of new agency onregulation and development of financial organizations

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the newly appointed Chairperson of the Agency for Regulation and Development of Financial Market Madina Abylkassymova, Akorda reports. The head of state gave a number of specific tasks on providing stability of banking system and development of financial sector at the meeting.
The new Agency will be located in the city of Almaty.
The President signed the decree on reorganization of the National Bank on November 11. The Agency on Regulation and Development of the Financial Market was separated from the National Bank.
The new state body will be regulating and develop the financial market, establish standards for activities of financial organizations, create mechanisms for improvement of corporate management of financial organizations.
