Ex-judge Japar Ermatov stays in custody for 2 more months

AKIPRESS.COM - The Pervomai district court of Bishkek prolonged the remand in custody to former judge of the Naryn town court Japar Ermatov within the case of illegal release of crime boss Aziz Batukayev from prison.
He will be kept in SIZO of the National Security Committee until February 22, 2020.
The investigation against Japar Ermatov was launched on May 23.
The former judge considered the application of the acting deputy head of the State Penitentiary Service of SIZO-4 on the release of Aziz Batukayev from an unserved sentence of 8 years 3 months 7 days.
