Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan comments on death of employee of Kazakh Embassy in Egypt

AKIPRESS.COM - On the sidelines of the government, Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tleuberdi commented on the death of the Kazakh diplomat in Egypt, Zakon.kz reports. "We are waiting for the results of investigation. At a moment, a suicide version is being considered. This is a very sorrowful event for us. He was very competent Arabist and worked with us for a long time," he said.
According to Tleuberdi, the diplomat completed his three-year official trip this year.
"We prolonged his official trip for 2 years, as his stay in the Embassy was necessary," Tleuberdi noted.
The information about the death of Elaman Zholdasov appeared on December 17. His cousin Gulnara Pernebekova said that the tragedy occurred on December 13, when the diplomat was found dead not far from his house. The reports that his body was tied up is denied by Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan, according to spokesman Aibek Smadiyarov.
