National Bank of Kazakhstan forecasts economic growth in 2020

AKIPRESS.COM - The National Bank of Kazakhstan projected economic growth of the country at 4.2%, Zakon.kz reports.
The regulator says GDP will rise by 3.8$ in 2020.
Positive forecasts are due to a positive fiscal boost in 2020 and the reassessment of the forecast of the gross accumulations, the report says.
The growth is also due to a rise of consumer demand supported by increase of real monetary revenues of the population and a positive fiscal boost.
The bank says export will rise amid the growth of oil and gas production.
A positive dynamics is also observed in mining industry, construction and transport.
Meanwhile, a slight slowdown of GDP is projected for the first half of 2021.
