Ethiopian Ambassador presents copies of credentials in Turkmenistan

AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a meeting with the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia in Turkmenistan (with residence in Ankara) Mr. Girma Temesgen Barkessa, who arrived to Ashgabat on a working visit on Dec 19, the ministry reports.
The Ambassador presented copies of his credentials to the Turkmen side and assured that he will make every effort to bring bilateral relations to a new level of cooperation.
Turkmen side underlined the importance of organizing meetings at various levels. The sides discussed the improving the legal framework for concluding cooperation agreements between Turkmenistan and Ethiopia.
During the talks, the sides considered the possibilities of joint work in different directions, as well as discussed the issues of trade and economic relations, the parties noted opportunities of developing the cooperation in that sphere.
