Kyrgyz judoka wins gold medal of international tournament in Kuwait

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyz athlete Kubanychbek Aibek uulu became the winner of the international judo tournament in Kuwait. The tournament kicked off on Dec 20 in Al Kuwait city, where 7 sets of medals were played among men and women.
Aibek Uulu performed in men's 66 kg and started from the 1/8 finals, where he defeated athlete from UAE.
In the quarterfinals, the Kyrgyz defeated the athlete from Syria and in the semifinals defeated the representative of Kuwait.
In the finals, Aibek Uulu defeated a judoka from Chinese Taipei and became the winner of the tournament.
