80 people evacuated on Almaty-Tashkent road due to snow storm

AKIPRESS.COM - Some 80 passengers of a bus and several cars were evacuated on the night of December 22 on the Almaty-Tashkent-Termez highway as the vehicles could not continue their way due to a stow storm, the Kazavtozhol national company said. The passenger bus went off the road.
36 people from the bus and 44 people from cars were evacuated to Shakpak Baba village of Turkestan region as a result.
To provide security on roads amid unfavorable weather conditions, temporary restrictions were imposed in Aktobe, East Kazakhstan, Zhambyl, Turkestan regions.
