Tajikistan, Oman discuss cooperation prospects

AKIPRESS.COM - The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Muhriddin met with his counterpart from Oman Yusuf bin Alavi bin Abdullah on December 19, the ministry reports.
The sides discussed issues to related current state and prospects for development of cooperation between Tajikistan and Oman in political, economic, trade, investment, energy, tourism, agriculture, industry, air communication, and migration spheres, strengthening the legal basis and other issues of mutual interest in the framework of international and regional organizations.
The sides noted the importance of establishing high-level contacts and exchange of visits in the development of bilateral cooperation, stressed the need for the establishment of a Joint Intergovernmental Commission and the enhancement of cooperation in various fields.
Following the meeting, the Executive Program between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman for the period 2020-2022 was signed.
