Jeenbekov says goodbye to Bolot Shamshiyev

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov on December 24 sent a farewell message on occasion of the memorial service of the Kyrgyz film director Bolot Shamshiyev, his press service said. Spokesman of the head of state Dosaly Esenaliyev read out the President's letter.
"The fruits of works of Bolot Shamshiyev will remain an integral part of the epoch of the "Kyrgyz miracle". A talent of Bolot Shamshiyev was discovered through the works of a great writer Chingiz Aitmatov amd he became one of the film classics of the 20th century.
Shamshiyev contributed a lot in the research of the history of the Kyrgyz people, in particular, in Manas epic.
His first scientific and popular film was dedicated to the Manas epic. This film received a main prize at the international film festival in Germany.
Shamshiyev was not only a great film director, but also a clear-sighted manager able to determine the talent of many actors and helped them show themselves and develop their potential.
He could gain an eternal memory through his works," the telegram says.
