AKIPRESS.COM - The results of the 13h International Festival of Documentary Films on Human Rights "Bir Duino Kyrgyzstan-2019" have been summed up in Bishkek today.
Bishkek hosted the 13th international festival on November 11-15.
The festival is held every year.
As part of the festival, more than 450 films dedicated to the human rights were screened. The festival was held on occasion of the 30th anniversary of the UN Convention on Rights of Children.
According to Chairperson of the Bir Duino Kyrgyzstan Tolekan Ismailova, 22 films from 10 countries were screened at the event.
According to her, the human rights movement in 2020 plans to work with the activists at the places, where people suffer from the affects of uranium pollution. There are 92 most dangerous places in the country, including Mailuu-Suu, which is in top 10 most dangerous places in the world, Ismailova said.
