Kazakhstan to hand over black box of crashed plane for decoding by Interstate Aviation Committee in Moscow

AKIPRESS.COM - Decoding of the black box of the Bek Air crashed plane will start on December 29, Vice Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development Berik Kamaliev said, zakon.kz reports. "Vice Prime Minister Roman Sklyar talked with the chairman of the Interstate Aviation Committee yesterday. An expert will arrive from Moscow in Almaty tonight. The investigative group is working, the flight recorders were recovered. The black box will be handed over to the Interstate Aviation Committee for decoding in Moscow," Kamaliev said.
The Bek Air plane en route from Almaty to Nur-Sultan lost altitude after take-off and hit into the wall and 2-storey building then. At least 12 were killed.
The Interior Ministry is studying the reasons of the incident, including technical failure of the plane, weather conditions and possible mistakes of pilots.
