Uzbekistan adopts measures on protection of women from violence

AKIPRESS.COM - The Government of Uzbekistan endorsed the decree on measures of improvement of the system of protection of women and girls from violence, Norma reports.
The document approves the order of issuance of protection order, its execution and monitoring; programs of rehabilitation for abusers; forms of protection order.
The main aim of the rehabilitation program is prevention of violence against women, eradication of causes leading to domestic violence, identification and addressing latent forms of violence, outrach work with abusers, etc.
