Turkmenistan listed in top 10 countries with lowest gasoline prices

AKIPRESS.COM - Turkmenistan entered the list of Top-10 countries with the lowest gasoline prices, according to the GlobalPetrolPrices website data, Turkmen media report.
Turkmenistan, which gets the eight spot on the list with one liter of A-95 gasoline costing 1.5 manats ($0.43), is followed by Kazakhstan ($0.46) and Azerbaijan ($0.47). These three countries are the states with cheapest gasoline price in the Commonwealth of Independent States.
"The average price of gasoline around the world is $1.12 per liter," GlobalPetrolPrices writes.
Venezuela is at the top of the list with the $0.001 price tag for a liter. Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China became the place with the most expensive gasoline price in 2019. The drivers in Hong Kong pay $2.32 for a liter of gasoline.
In Turkmenistan, A-95 gasoline is produced at Turkmnenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries and Seydi Oil Refinery.
Turkmenistan is also home to a first gas-to-gasoline plant producing ECO-93 gasoline, which was commissioned in June last year in Ahal velayat.
