AKIPRESS.COM - 21 children who were abandoned by their biological mothers were returned from Russia, Turkey and Kazakhstan in 2019, said the Deputy Labor Minister Aliza Soltonbekova. According to her, the work on search for the children relatives will start after receiving a letter from the relevant authorities.
"Even if mothers abandoned their children, we speak with her relatives. There are many different cases. Last time, we brought 7 children, 3 of them were taken by their relatives at the airport. We prepared all the documents," she said.
Other children are distributed to orphanages. The children's center had 85 children at the year beginning but now there are 44 children, she added.
