Number of private farms to increase in Turkmenistan’s northern region

AKIPRESS.COM - The number of private farms built by entrepreneurs in Turkmenistan's Dashoguz district is expected to increase this year, the state media report.
Recently, a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan Arslan Chovdurov has begun the construction of a new livestock complex in the district's Gubadag etrap, which will specialize in cattle breeding. To implement the project, the state allocated 103 hectares of land to the entrepreneur for a period of 99 years. The entrepreneur plans to build farm buildings on three hectares of the allocated land and plant fodder crops on 100 hectares.
The construction of a livestock farm by Gayratly Turkmen Individual Enterprise for the production of milk and meat is also underway in the district's Gorogly etrap. The farm's total area is 223 hectares, 8 hectares, of which are allotted for a new building, the rest of the territory - for fodder crop growing.
The construction of private farms is also underway in the district's Ruhubelent, S. Turkmenbashi, and S. A. Niyazov etraps.
