Milan Turpanov re-elected as President of Kyrgyz Chess Federation

AKIPRESS.COM - Milan Turpanov was re-elected as President of Kyrgyzstan Chess Federation.
The extraordinary meeting of the federation took place on Jan 1 in Bishkek with the participation of 200 delegates form all the region of the republic.
The current president received 239 votes from meeting participants.
Previously, it was reported that 98 federation members held extraordinary meeting, in which they file a no confidence vote to Turpanov, dismissed him and named new president - Talant Mamytov.
In Jan 2020, the federation hosted 2 Kyrgyzstan championships among children.
The Non-Olympic Sport Directorate suspended funding of the Kyrgyz Chess Federation since Nov,2019 due to internal conflicts, the State Sports Agency told Sport AKIpress.
