Russian Children's Rights Commissioner assists Kyrgyz woman in difficult life situation

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyz citizen with new-born children addressed to the Children's Rights Commissioner for the President of the Russian Federation Anna Kuznetsova with the request to assist her in difficult life situation and provide her with temporary housing. A woman arrived with her husband in Russia while she was pregnant, however her husband soon returned to his homeland, leaving his wife in rented apartment with no means of support.
In November, 2019 a woman gave birth to twin girls and within a week the children were hospitalized with fever to one of the Moscow hospitals. At the same time, apartment owner kick woman out of the house.
Children's Rights Commissioner got in touch with one of the charity funds in order to resolve the issue.
To date, Kyrgyz woman is in asylum. Kuznetsova sent the information about woman to Kyrgyz ombudsman within the operating memorandum between tho states.
In 2018, Children's Rights Commissioner for the President of the Russian Federation and Kyrgyz Ombudsman signed memorandum of understanding and memorandum on cooperation in the protection of children's rights and interests.
