Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture denies anthrax infection in Akmola region

AKIPRESS.COM - The reports on spreading of anthrax and anthrax infection of a resident of Akmola region are untrue, the Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture reports.
The reports sparked a wide outcry and fears among the population. The Akmola Regional Department of Quality Control and Safety of Goods did not confirm the anthrax infection of the patient.
Results of laboratory tests showed no anthrax infection. The reports spreading on social networking sites are fake.
In this regard, the Ministry of Agriculture recalls the responsibility for the dissemination of false information, the statement said.
