AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov on January 18 signed a law on ratification of the Second Protocol on amendments to the Charter of the Collective Security Treaty Organization dated October 7, 2002 and the Second Protocol on amendments to the Treaty on Collective Security dated May 15, 1992 signed on November 8, 2018 in Astana.
The head of state also signed ratification of the Third Protocol on amendments to the Charter of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation dated October 7, 2002.
The law was adopted by the Parliament on December 12, 2019, the President's press service said.
According to this law, the Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan has to notify the Secretariat of the CSTO on ratification of protocols by Kyrgyzstan.
The law enters into force 10 days after official publication.
