Lawmaker offers to create single service to respond to domestic violence in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - MP Natalya Nikitenko (Ata Meken party) at the meeting of the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Committee of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan today proposed to create a single service to respond to domestic violence in Kyrgyzstan. Launch of such rapid reponse service has been suggested many times, but is not realized yet, she said.
Vice Prime Minister Altynai Omurbekova said that the work in this area is being carried out constantly. There are already several around-the-clock services, she noted and named them:
111 - day and night trust line for children;
115 - Ombudsman Office;
102 - police;
103 - ambulance.
