AKIPRESS.COM - President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that Russia did not allow supply of the Kazakh oil to Belarus, Belta reported. "Actually, now there is no a full alternative to the Russian oil. But what we have agreed is we need diversification. We should come to that we will buy Russian oil at 30-40%. We should import 30% from the Baltics and 30% through the territory of Ukraine. Probably, Kazakhstan will be able to supply its oil to us, if Russia says okay. It's strange that our ally does not give a permission for supply of oil from our another ally," Lukashenko said.
The head of state noted that Belarus will be purchasing any oil, including from Azerbaijan, Norwegian, American or others.
There are alternatives, including the main oil supplier - Russia, he added.
