AKIPRESS.COM - The closing ceremony of the NATO language courses within the ‘NATO-Kyrgyzstan' program on retraining and social adaptation of servicemen dismissed from the Armed Forces was held on Jan 21. These courses are being held annually within the program "The partnership for the sake of peace" signed between Kyrgyzstan and NATO on Jan 10, 1994. Four month courses of "English Language" and "Website designer" were held within the implementation of the program.
Over 600 servicemen were trained from 2011 to 2019, including 75% of graduates were employed in the state, private and international organizations.
The project is aimed at retraining and social adaptation to the civilian life through the retraining of the of the servicemen of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, State Committee for Defense Affairs, Emergencies Ministry, State Border Service, State Penitentiary Service, National Security Committee, as well as National Guard of Kyrgyz Armed Forces.
