Uzbekistan criminalizes forced child labor

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed the law criminalizing forced labor and involvement of minors into hazardous work. Involvement of minors into work that can be harmful for their health, safety and morality will be subject to $580 fine or correctional labor up to 3 years.
Forced labor in any form will be punished with fines.
