Economy of Almaty grows by 4.8% in 2019

AKIPRESS.COM - The gross regional product in 2019 in Almaty grew by 4.8%, zakon.kz reported.
Investment in equity increased by 8.5%.
A positive dynamics was observed in all spheres of the economy of the city last year.
Industry grew by 4.5%, housing commissioning - by 4.8%, construction - 3.4%, retail sales - 12.1%, transport and warehousing - 11.9%. More than 820 billion tenge investments were attracted in the city economy.
Since the beginning of 2019, more than 47,000 jobs were created in Almaty.
