Ski base in Naryn solemly opens winter season

AKIPRESS.COM - The opening of the winter season took place in the ski base in Tosh-Bulak district of Naryn town, reports Turmush correspondent.
The ski base is annually reconstructed and has been functioning for 29 years. The aerial cableway of the ski base has been operating since 1991. The skiing department conducts training sessions there with 1 head coach, 2 coaches and 82 pupils. Alpine skiing competitions are held annually during the winter season, where students of the Alpine Ski Department win prizes at national and international competitions.
The opening ceremony was attended by the region's Mayor Emilbek Alymkulov, Mayor Nurbek Moldokadyrov, members of the city council, President of the Ski Federation Kuban Abas Uulu, Public Relations Representative of the Naryn Campus of the University of Central Asia Akylbek Chymyrbayev, Head of Naryn regional youth, physical culture and sport department Asylbek Osmonaliyev, head of city department on youth, physical culture and sport Rysbek Kasmaliyev, heads, employees of enterprises and institutions, local residents, sport fans.
