Germany, Kazakhstan vow to bolster economic cooperation

AKIPRESS.COM - As part of the working visit to Berlin, Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi met with Foreign Minister of Germany Heiko Maas, the MFA reports. They discussed implementation of bilateral agreements achieved in December 2019 during the official visit of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Germany.
The sides considered the schedule of the upcoming meetings at high level at the meeting.
Tileuberdi also held a number of meetings with heads of the leading companies of Germany and discussed opportunities of expanding cooperation and projects in the field of processing and utilization of wastes, development of transport and logistics business, digitalization and information technologies.
The German businessmen praised the positive results of the December visit of the Kazakh President to Germany.
Tileuberdi called on the German businessment to invest in Kazakhstan and voiced a number of preferences and conditions for cooperation.
The Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan participated in the Green Central Asian Conference in Berlin, which was attended by Foreign Ministers of Central Asian countries, Afghanistan and Germany.
