Tajikistan’s oldest woman dies at age of 127

AKIPRESS.COM - Fotima Mirzokulova, native of Dahan village in Tajikistan, died at the age of 127 years. She was buried on January 25, Ahbor reports. Fotima Mizokulova was the oldest citizen of Tajikistan. She was born on 13 March 1893. She had 8 children and around 200 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
All her life she has worked in the kolkhoz. She continued working on cotton fields even after she retired. She loved this job, Asht district administration said.
According to official statistics, there are 78 people above 100 years in Tajikistan. 50 of them are women. Fotima Mirzokulova was the last citizen of Tajikistan, who was born in the 19th century.
