AKIPRESS.COM - President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko ordered the government of the country to arrange talks with Kazakhstan on oil supplies, the President's press service said. "Alexander Lukashenko by his decree ordered the government to hold negotiations with Kazakhstan on trade and economic cooperation in the field of supplying oil and oil products to Belarus, as well as on the draft agreement and its signing," the statement says.
Belarus continues efforts on diversification of oil supplies by developing various geographical directions for import of petroleum commodities and logistics, the press service noted.
Lukashenko earlier said that Russia does not give a permission on delivery of the Kazakhstani oil to Belarus.
