AKIPRESS.COM - Representatives of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations handed over a multifunctional equipment to the State Agency for Environmental Protection and Forestry of Kyrgyzstan for creation of the information system in the forestry sector.
The Agency said the aid was donated as part of the Sustainable Management of Mountainous Forest and Land Resources under Climate Change Conditions project financed by the Global Environment Fund.
The total amount of the aid is $38,000.
The equipment has two powerful modern servers that provide a fault tolerant system. These powers allow to store more than 20 virtual servers for operation of multiple tasks as collection, storing, processing and revealing data, placing the security data providing system and etc.
The servers wil be connected to the Tunduk communication platform, which will allow the Agency to exchange information with the ministries and agencies directly at the machine level.
