30-40 Kyrgyzstanis return home everyday from 5 countries with unfavorable epidemic situation

AKIPRESS.COM - 30-40 citizens of Kyrgyzstan arrive in Kyrgyzstan everyday from 5 countries with unfavorable epidemic situation, Deputy Minister of Health Tolo Isakov said at the press conference on March 6. These countries are China, Japan, South Korea, Italy and Iran, he said.
Kyrgyzstan imposed a temporary ban on entrance into the territory of Kyrgyzstan for citizens of the named countries.
The citizens of Kyrgyzstan travelling in these countries are quarantined upon arrival to the country. "They are not sick, these are just preventive measures," Isakov noted.
According to Deputy Foreign Minister Nurlan Abdrahmanov, 280 Kyrgyzstanis returned from China, 352 from Italy, 2,348 from South Korea, 67 from Iran and 64 from Japan today. These are nationals that are registered in the consular registry.
