Head of State Commission for Religious Affairs of Kyrgyzstan meets with Ambassador of Saudi Arabia

AKIPRESS.COM - Head of the State Commission for Religious Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Zaiyrbek Ergeshov on March 5 met with Ambassador of Saudi Abdurakhman bin Said Al-Juma, the press service of the Commission said.
The sides discussed bilateral relations and further development of ties between Kyrgyzstan ans Saudi Arabia.
Ergeshov underlined the role of state policy held in the religious sphere and the importance of strengthening of secularism in the country.
The Ambassador thanked the Kyrgyz side for discussion of cooperation issues and notified about a temporary suspension of Umrah pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia over threat of coronavirus outbreak.
Upon completion, the sides agreed to support working contacts to provide assistance for further development of international relations.
