AKIPRESS.COM - Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev met with President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev during his visit to Kazakhstan.
Medvedev noted Russia's interest in important political processes in Kazakhstan, RIA Novosti reported.
Tokayev said constitutional changes in Russia are of a big interest for Kazakhstan.
"We see Russia is entering a new stage of its development. The constitutional reform has taken place. We are studying it closely. Of course, it is of a big interest for Kazakhstan, since we are allies, strategic partners," RIA Novosti cited Tokayev as saying.
"Our countries are developing and are at a rather serious stage of their development. Big processes are ongoing in your country. We are also monitoring and studying them," Medvedev stated.
"We should not only help development of each other, but to a certain degree learn some elements in our development from each other," Medvedev underscored.
