Turkmenistan to buy 400 Hyundai city buses

AKIPRESS.COM - Turkmenistan will buy 'AII New Super Aero City' buses from South Korean Hyundai Motor Company, the official media report.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the relevant decree during the video conference session of the Cabinet of Ministers on March 6 in order to successfully implement the tasks set to further improve the quality of public transport services.
According to the document, Türkmenawtoulaglary Agency was entrusted to conclude a contract with South Korean Hyundai Motor Company for the purchase of 400 Hyundai 'All New Super Aero City' buses, as well as their spare parts and consumables.
Turkmenistan previously purchased hundreds of different models of the Hyundai buses for the city and intercity routes. The new buses, equipped with modern engines that comply with the Euro 4 emission standard, will be used in city routes.
