No confirmed coronavirus cases in Kyrgyzstan by March 10, government says

AKIPRESS.COM - An operative team on coronavirus prevention had a session on March 10, the government reports.
The number of coronavirus infections worldwide is more than 109,000, with about 3,800 deaths.
The meeting participants noted that the epidemiological situation in Kyrgyzstan as of March 10 is stable and no coronavirus cases were registered in Kyrgyzstan so far.
Mass gatherings in the country were canceled following recommendations of the Ministry of Health.
All checkpoints on state border continue working in reinforced regime. Medical workers, epidemiologists, sanitary doctors, ambulance employees and other emergency services are working round the clock, they said.
During the meeting, it was noted that Kyrgyz citizens who arrived from Diamond Princess cruise ship and from Turkey were tested negative for coronavirus. They were placed under two-week quarantine.
Bishkek mayor's office representatives said that the specialists disinfect the public transport in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus, as well as public catering areas will be taken under control, they said.
Members of the office urged some citizens not to disturb people with their irresponsible statements about the existance of coronavirus cases in Kyrgyzstan and spread false information on social networks and massengers.
